Running project 2022 - 2024
Nordplus Adult NPAD-2022/10046
The project Intergenerational Green Future Days in Local Communities has set an ambitious fundamental aim – to form local initiatives in the Baltic-Nordic region to help achieve a more global strategy established by the European Commission known as the Green Deal. In order
to do that, the partnership will seek the personal involvement of people of all ages in the implementation and sustainability of the Green Deal through intergenerational discussions.
The main target groups are active people of the younger and older (50+) generations who are
concerned about the environment and care about the green future of Europe and the world.
Project aim: To seek personal involvement of people of all ages in the implementation and
sustainability of the Green Deal through intergenerational discussions.
The main steps in the project:
-
creation of steering groups of active people to work on short videos and other visual content about the surrounding nature and environmental changes, accompanied by environment-related stories, experiences, and recommendations
-
collection of Best Practices to follow in order to lead more environmentally friendly lives
-
preparation of a scenario for Intergenerational Green Future Days in Local Communities
-
organization of the Green Future Days in partner countries, as well as the final international Green Future Event in the public area in Vilnius
