Project Description

The Network for Social and Market Inclusion through Language Education (SMILE) explores opportunities for promotion of less widely used and taught languages (LWUTLs) in various educational, social and economic sectors.

The project identifies areas and target groups which can benefit from the application of LWUTLs and spreads the results of existing good practices for language learning and promotion.

Who can benefit?
• Schools, universities, language centres, adult education providers, VET language education institutes
• Organizations providing learning opportunities for people at risk of social exclusion
• Different organizations from specific economic sectors

Through the project outcomes various organizations will become familiar with alternative language-learning methods and multilingual products for increasing competences, competitiveness and employment in various sectors.
Project is being implemented by 20 organizations from 15 countries.
